Blueprint for Substance Abuse and Misuse Prevention,
Treatment and Control

Throughout the past year, One Care of Southwest Virginia, Inc. has been engaged in the creation of a Strategic Blueprint for Substance Abuse and Misuse Prevention, Treatment and Control for Southwest Virginia.  One Care’s vision is that this blueprint be designed to systematically approach and significantly reduce substance abuse and misuse in the region and the associated legal, social and economic costs.  Since Substance Abuse affects everyone in the region, public input for this project was sought at open meetings held through in the region in the summer of 2010, and ideas and concerns raised at these meetings have been incorporated into the writing of the blueprint.
